In the summer of 2012, I had jaw surgery. My surgery was a three-piece mandible and lasted around nine-and-a-half hours. And yes, I was asleep during the whole thing. Since having the jaw surgery, there are some things that you are not allowed to do during recovery and after it is all said and done. Continue reading “Post-Jaw Surgery Problems”
I have had my Apple Watch for nearly two months now and I have to say that I use it every single day. It has definitely become one of those devices where I do not know what I would do without it? Not many devices can say they can have that kind of impact on me. Continue reading “How I Use My Apple Watch”
Last week, I did a piece on classes that should be offer at colleges. Well today, I’m going to tell you the ones that in my opinion, should not be required for every college student to take. And yes, like many of my other previous blog posts, this will be very opinionated. Also factor in that this is coming from a journalism major. Basically, a liberal arts major. College can be a great experience depending on how you view it. Personally, I am not a fan of it and would be a big fan if something were to change. On this blog in this past, I have posted many things about how we could change how college works, not just for me, the journalism major, but for college students of nearly every major. Whether you are alone or with your boyfriend/girlfriend, here are some good movies to watch on Valentine’s Day. Continue reading “Good Movies to Watch on Valentine’s Day”
Over the past month, I have been testing out Hulu, thanks to a one-month free trial that I got emailed to me. I have been testing the service out on my Apple TV via the Hulu app and Apple’s “TV” app. But is it really worth that $7.99 or $12.99 (commercial-free) price tag? Continue reading “Is Hulu Worth The Money?”
I am one of those people that have grown up with YouTube. I remember in 2006 and going to the site for the first time and how cool it was. In 2008, I opened a PlayStation 3 for Christmas, which not only gave me access to new (at the time) video games but being able to use YouTube on the big screen. And that’s where the whole story begins, I guess.
I have been a college student for three years now and I will say that there are things that have happened at my college that I am not pleased about, and in some cases where you would think someone should come in and say something is wrong. Unfortunately, this has not happened yet. However, this is not me playing the victim. Continue reading “What Disappoints Me About College”
